Leroy Graham, Jr., MD, PhD, received his undergraduate degree in biology from Hampton University. He went on to receive his PhD in Microbiology from Meharry Medical College . Dr. Graham completed postdoctoral studies in clinical microbiology at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Graham received his Doctor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at Portsmouth Family Medicine.
Dr. Graham was a primary care physician at Peninsula Institute of Community Health for three years prior to going into solo private practice. He served the Newport News/Hampton Roads community for over fifteen years in his private practice. Currently he works as hospitalist at Eastern State Hospital. The scope of his practice includes managing hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, various cardiac conditions, gastroenterology, orthopedics, dermatology among others.
